For its 40th session the Heart Rhythm Society’s Annual Scientific Sessions will be held this year in from May 8 to 11, in San Francisco, CA. As usual it will convene the finest clinicians, scientists, researchers and innovators in the field of cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. More than 800 of the world’s most noted experts in cardiac rhythm management will serve as faculty for more than 200 educational sessions covering topic areas such as pacing, defibrillation, clinical arrhythmia management, ablation, pharmacology, genetics, basic science, health policy, and more!

The Exhibit Hall will be abuzz this year, with over 140 exhibitors to visit, walk the aisles of posters, network with colleagues and friends, and take in popular sessions in and around the EPicenter.

During the first two days, the Heart Rhythm Bowl will take place. Electrophysiology Fellows-in-Training from across the globe will have the opportunity to participate in a friendly, non-CME competition. An expert team of EPs have prepared quiz questions covering the following topics:

  • Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices
  • Basic Electrophysiology
  • EP History
  • Imaging and Cardiac Mapping
  • Clinical Electrophysiology and Catheter Ablation
  • Electrograms
  • Clinical Trials and more

The teams will compete in the Semifinals on Wednesday, May 8 and the top teams will continue to the Finals on Thursday, May 9. The sessions will be held at Heart Rhythm 2019.
